The Music: The 10th Annual Musink Tattoo & Music Festival has come to an end and it showed us why punk rock rules the world. With the bill lined up with big name veterans like NOFX, Bad Religion and Pennywise, still the talk of the town was the return of Story Of The Year to So Cal and Goldfinger’s performance. Travis Barker(Blink 182) joined in on drums for John Feldmann(Goldfinger) along with Phil Sneed on guitar(Story of the Year) and Mike Herrera on bass(MxPx) creating one truly punk rock super group. We caught up with Ryan and Josh from Story of the Year and talked new music and for sure we could expect new tunes to drop in a couple of months that is fully funded by the fans!

The Car Show:  This year the car show was the best one so far just like the music lineup. Musink showcased really expensive cars and bikes ranging from $300K – $700K and what made it unique this time around, most owners were there to answer questions and tell the story behind each custom part.

The Fans: The bands and songs get older every year, but the fans only seem to get younger. This years fest had more kids in the crowd with their parents by their side, singing every word to every song, keeping punk rock fresh. Ticket prices are still the best value out there attracting a younger crowd.

Overall: With a great music line up year after year and a family friendly festival with great budget ticket prices, what is there not to love about MUSINK.
